John's Story
Life
I graduated from USA in 1976 with a BM in Choral Conducting. I also have a Master's degree in Christian Education. I was minister of music at FBC Tillman's Corner for 22 1/2 years. Then 10 years ago, we moved to Memphis where I serve as minister of music at Kirby Woods Baptist Church. I have one wife, 2 sons, twin daughters, one Dachshund and a granddaughter (Lucy) due in late August.

my mom lives with my sister, Diana (Shaw Class of 74) in Citronelle. I just returned from 2 weeks visiting and working with my brother, Keith (Shaw Class of 79), where he and his family have served for 5 years as Global Outreach Missionaries.
I enjoy music (listening, arranging, performing), reading, photography, computers, walking and racquetball. Oh yeah, and I also sing 1st tenor with a gospel quartet called The Kirby 4. (You can Google our website)
