John's Story

I cant believe it`s been 40 years. I hired on with united airlines in July of 69. . I married in 72 and i`m still married, I know i cant believe it either. I almost got drafted in 72, thank you united for the deferment. United laid me off in 73 and I went to FMC`s research and development.We built the first Bradley fighting vehicle.They actually paid us to drive a tank around and shoot at things. They wouldn't let us pick the targets. Looking back that was probably a wise decision I went back to united in 74.I...Expand for more
have a daughter 32 and a son 27. They both went to archbishop Mitty.My daughter has a masters degree in genetics and my son has bachelors degree in criminal justice . . My son and i raced go karts for years, he quit in 04 , I stopped last year.I have 1 grandson so far. I thought I was going to have to give them written instructions but they figured it out on there own.. Retire? I planed to go the day i turned 55.I`m not ready to retire, I like what i do . We travel more now, lets see what the future has in store
