John's Story
Springbrook High School; University of Maryland undergrad; University of Southern California (grad); active duty and reserve Navy Officer (retired 2002); currently employed U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (program manager); Georgetown University (adjunct); management consultant by profession. on time in Spain and drove all around that country in the summer of 2006 (+ southern France). I am practically an hispanophile. Have seen much of Europe and some of Asia as well due to military service (sea duty). I am "sandwiched" like many folks caring for my elderly mother-in-law while seeing my twins off to college next year, plus "Peak earning years" = I'm not sure how I have time to do this. Currently reside near Rockville/Potomac line and am active in my parish (St. Raphael). Interesting reading some of your stories - best regards.
