John's Story
Life
So a bio here for folks who are remotely interested. Keyword search, networking, Ka-ching..
Really hope everyone's doing well or in the least surviving. I was interested enough to catch up w/ some folks that I bought in for the cheapo short term ticket so this may be my last posting. The least I should do is give some basic bio stuff.
I'm still living on LI and still planning to move off asap. How can anyone afford to live here?!? But I work in NYC so it'll be Conn, NJ or one o the northern counties in NY. My wife Rohann and I have been married since Feb 01. My son John Aidan Daly is 4 now, happy and healthy and FULL OF STEAM. He's got a great arm, fastball with accuracy and can swing the bat already! Love's baseball, and I'm starting him on the path to a scholarship asap. He's really good at all the nuances of the game, such as tapping the bat on the plate, swinging it in the air and spitting ( he doesn't know what ) between swings. If we can steer him clear...Expand for more
of steroids, I think he'll be OK.
Am working at Morgan Stanley now, Vice President in IT. Won't go into it, but there u go, keyword search, am sure I'll hear from someone.
I still worry quite a bit abt the sorry state of our environmental policies as a nation, I've been beating a dead horse for many years about our arrogance/denial/greed, whatever it is that is causing us to be the absolute dead anchor in the world for effecting change before it's too late. How sad is it that Al Gore had to be the hatchet man on the ground for the Kyoto protocol agreement?
Oh well, buy property in Greenland or northern Canada and you might make out ok. It's my son maybe or definitely his children that are gonna feel the pain.
So classmates.com, I hope the world finds you well, enjoy whatever ya got and stay as long as you can. I know I'm worlds different from the person I was in alot of ways, and probably will be in another 20 years. I hope you had the time of your life;-)
