John's Story
Life
I graduated from Trinity University ('02) and have been working in San Antonio for three years now. With my work, I have traveled to most of the United States and Europe/Middle East. I will be going soon for an MBA and masters in vocal performance (random?) I still sing, so (masters in vocal performance) it's just something I wanted to do for myself. I had a couple relationships in college with no regrets, but have come to the realization that Love finds you and not always the other way around. Motto: Work hard, Play Hard!!
Recently as of 02.14.06 I have been working out of my company's Kuwait and Dubai Offices. Dubai is great place to be, once you get past the cultural differences. So far this year, I have worked or visit Qatar, Bahrain, Italy, Netherlands, France, Kuwait, and the UAE. My company allows me to travel and meet with our US military clients in these countries, which I like. I will travel in June '06 into Baghdad, and later to Afghanistan. School
Too many crushes to count, but I was pretty oblivious in High School. Miss alot of the friends I grew up with, haven't really done a good job of keeping up.
College
Trinity University was a private school in San Antonio, TX. I got a degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in mathematics and vocal performance. I was in a fraternity there, but that was another life. Had one too many parties and "late-night study sessions". It was a great experience, since I met some great people and came out with life-long friends.
Workplace
Working at Weston Solutions, Inc. in San Antonio as a engineer/consultant. I've been here for 3 years now. I'm currently bouncing between Kuwait City, Kuwait and Dubai, UAE setting up two offices for the company. I will be in Baghdad in a couple weeks for a two-three month construction manager assignment. Crazy and dangerous place to work right now, but who doesn't like a challenge. Hopefully I can work in an MBA on the way to pursuing my P.E. certification. Sky's the Limit in my Book!
