John's Story
Life after high school graduation... who can remember that far back?
Shortly after graduation I moved with my parents to St. Clair Shores, although I periodically lived with my sister in Fair Haven. Got bored with the country and the suburbs so I hightailed it to the big city (Detroit), stayed there for about 8 years, until 1985. Lived in Ann Arbor for a while too, then in 1989 moved to Plano (Dallas) TX where I've been ever since.
Jumped around different colleges in the Detroit area until settling in at Walsh College in Troy where I finally graduated from in 1986.
Started working at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Southfield in 1986, then transferred with EDS to Plano TX in 1989. Been with EDS for 23 years with the exception of a brief layoff in 2003/2004. EDS was acquired by Hewlett Packard in 2008 but I'm still considered an EDS employee until the integration is completed (assuming they don't can all of the old EDS folks before then).

Still get back to Michigan a couple of times a year, my Mom now lives in New Baltimore. My brother Tom (class of 1970) and my sister Charlotte (class of 1967) both live in Fair Haven still. My sister Leanne (class of 1968) lives in Metamora.
Been domestically partnered for the past 33 years to the same person. We have a dog named Lucas. I have two neices and one nephew. My partner has two neices. And now we are great-uncles to 4 babies.
We've enjoyed living in Texas but are getting over it pretty quickly, especially since the Dallas area's newest residents arrived - George Bush and Kwame Kilpatrick.
Pretty much lost touch with everyone from the Algonac days, it would be interesting to find out who ended up with whom, and what the folks have been up to all of these years.
UPDATE: Laid off from HP/EDS in 12/2010. Sold the house in Plano TX. Now semi-retired and living the good life in Palm Springs, CA!
