John's Story
Life
Went in the Marine Corps after graduation in 1984 because I was sick of being told what to do. LOL. Somehow ended up in Louisville, Kentucky after I got out.Spent a good portion of my life getting a business degree from University of Louisville. I graduated from U of L in 1991 with a Finance degree. The one constant in my life has always been working out.I am in my 28th year of pumping iron. I began lifting on July 22nd, 1980 at the age of 14 and never quit. I began competing in bodybuilding contests in April of 1984. I somehow managed to win a few (1987 Pennyrile Classic,1990 Mr.Louisville, 2000 Natural Mr.Florida and 2002 Lakeland Championships and 2007 Muscle Mayhem Championships). I've also won two Powerlifting contests(2000 Ozark Open and 2000 Orlando Open) and coached my wife Sancia to a class win in the 2006 Texas State Championships.I found the idea of wea...Expand for more
ring shorts year round in Florida while driving a truck and listening to music more appealing than wearing a suit and tie, dealing with office politics, commissions and freezing my ass off in the Midwest during the winter. I lived in Miami and Venice Florida from 1998 to 2004. I met the love of my life Sancia in 1998. We got married in 2003. I finally decided to grow up and quit being a slacker at the ripe old age of 37. My wife and I moved to El Paso, Texas in 2004 where I received my teaching certification. I've been a middle school teacher since then. I currently teach PE and Health and coach volleyball and basketball. By the way, I'm interested in hearing from anyone I used to hang out with in High School(Rosary 9th and East 10th,11th and 12th) or ANYONE I went to grade school(Our Lady of Loretto) with. I hope everyone has had a great life with few regrets. Peace.
