John's Story
The woman in the photo is my wife Leora. We have been married 35 years and have a30 yr old son and a 28 yr old daughter.
After graduating high school I worked and went to Pima College graduating with an AA in Music Theory and Composition with a minor in electronics which was enough for a LA company, Laserium to hire me to do Laser Light Shows in planetariums. and worked at Burr Brown then an audio equipment repair shop then at National Semi Conductor and finally in 1981 I got a job with IBM. I stayed there 19 years.
I then got a job with Dell computers in Austin, TX which lasted 3 years but I was able to finish my BA in computer science and then went to NC and worked for NetApp. I was with NetApp for 6 years and then we moved to Oregon and I worked for Nike in the Portland area for 6 years. I am now retired and live in Texas.
I always liked to sing and I still do.
