John's Story
I think most people will remember me as being pretty quiet in high school. I used to hang out with crazy Rob Janda. Remember the guy whose car got ran over by a train and walked away with only a couple of scratches?
I enjoyed my time in the marching band. The people in this group were really great. The one thing I remember is that when we where coming home from an away football game on the bus Eric Oden would always play "I don't care anymore" by Phil Collins on his boom box as we where just pulling into the Bedford High School parking lot so all you would hear is "no more..no more..no more" echoing as you were getting off of the bus.
Today I'm basically a computer geek, during the week I work as a Systems Administrator...Expand for more
for a local hospital system. I am responsible for making sure our scheduling, surgery scheduling, pathology, document management, and fiscal systems function 24x7. As with most people in the IT field I am a perpetual student taking programming classes at Lakeland and taking tests to upgrade my Microsoft
MCSE and MCDBA certifications to MCITP.
During the summer I like to "wrench" in the garage working on various car and motorcycle projects. In the winter I work on restoring old tube televisions and radios.
I have been married to my wife Bonnie for seven years; we have a daughter named Zoe who was born in December 2006. So now I traded weekend nights at Shooters with friends for days at Lake Farm Park and the Zoo :-)
