John's Story
Life
I moved to Colorado in 1982 after living in Kettering, Ohio since 1974. I graduated from Ranum High School in 1987 then went to York College in York, Nebraska where I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree. I have worked for Standard Pacific Homes (formerly Writer Homes) for the last five years. I was married in 1994 to Julie Brown from Arvada, Colorado. We have a 7 year old son named Andrew.
Workplace
After working for a short while ...Expand for more
in the glass industry I started framing custom homes in '93. After about 7 years of that I went to work for Writer Homes here in Denver as a superintendant. Things have gone well for me here and I enjoy going to my job and helping to fulfill other peoples dreams of buying either their first home or moving up to a larger more special home than the one they left.
I am now, as of Jan. 2003, working in the office at Writer Homes as a purchasing assistant.
