Life
Hey fellow classmates! Yes it's me, I'm not dead, I'm not in jail and I have not been committed to an institution. Now you kids from Abington probably know I never spent much time in class but you might remember me racing through the parking lot. They sure were good times back then. These days I spend much of my time working. With 3 kids I've learned that diapers are a cheaper than braces and braces are cheaper than college. But they love me for it, just the other day my daughter was saying she couldn't imagine not living with me, and paying her own cell phone bill.
I am employed as an engineering support contractor to the Federal Government. I have been happily married for over 30 years....Expand for more
Both of my sons are married and my daughter is in college. I collect cool old stuff and sometimes play guitar and blues harp in bands.
I saw some classmates years ago at the 25th reunion. It's over 35 years now - staggering isn't it? My good friend Bucky (Abington class of '72) lent me his Abington yearbook and it's really been a trip looking through it. Bucky is also a collector of cool old stuff and has found me a 1972 McDevitt yearbook. I went to McDevitt my first 2 years of high school. It's really wild to see that we have become parents and grandparents. Didn't it seem like we would be young forever back then? I guess the saying is true, "When you're over the hill, you pick up speed."
