John's Story
Have lived in Manhattan (NYC) most of my life. Currently live in Worcestershire, England four months of the year. Am an Eucharistic Minister at my parish church in New York. I maintain a rather active life in volunteering, traveling and am enjoying 'old age', thank God. By the way, I am still in communication with Sr. Frances Patricia, C.S.J., who taught us English and French. I would've attended the reunion of the many classes, but since I'm still in England, couldn't make it, but would enjoy seeing photo...Expand for more
s or reading about it. Living on Marcellus Street and then in the countryside (farm land in Liverpool) was in those times, so different. When I have visited some family members, I have been so confused, as so much has changed in the area. I lost a brother 5.1/2 years ago, who was younger and known as 'The Voice of the Fair'. His funeral was beyond my belief. His voice is still used to announce the time over the speakers at the NYS Fair. I just lost a sister-in-law to brain cancer, so young and here I am !!
