John's Story
With a couple exceptions, I haven't kept in touch with anyone since graduation. I joined the Navy and have now served for more than 20 years. I have been around the world on 2 fast attack submarines (USS SANTA FE (SSN 763), USS HARTFORD (SSN 768)), a one of a kind nuclear powered research submarine (Submarine NR 1) and one NIMITZ Class aircraft carrier (USS HARRY S. My Wife and I have been married for 15 years and have two children (Son 14 and Daughter 12). We own a house in Gig Harbor, Washington. We have been in Washington for 3 years and will be returning to Connecticut when I finish my tour. I noticed a lot of people never made it out of Ohio. I couldn't get out fast enough and won't be moving back. I will be settling down in Connecticut after I retire.
