Life
I retired in 2001 after 26 years as the City of Ottawa¿s Chief Landscape Architect. Elena (Pelletier) and I went to Quebec City to celebrated our 45th anniversary in Sept. Elena retired 4 years ago after working at the Royal Ottawa Hospital for 25 years. We have been traveling often and enjoy taking cruises. We took a 14 day Scandianian/Russia cruise in June '07 to celebrate Elena¿s 65th birthday. Our daughter, Lisa, is married with two children - a boy 16 and a girl 10. ery good. We built a post and beam home in the city 25 years ago and been happily living downtown. We are close to Parliament Hill, the national museums, the outdoor market and major shopping areas. Ottawa has been a great place to live. If you ever come to Ottawa please contact us. We love to show you the city
We had the worst winter in the 34 years we have been in Ottawa. Here it is April 15 and we still have piles of snow on the ground. I am getting too old for this climate and want to move to one of the southern states. Can anyone recommend at great place to live?
