John's Story
Life
The readers digest condensed version of my life is as follows;
After graduation I worked my way through college and traveled as much of the world as would have the likes of me. It's odd, I have been to Europe many times, but never to Las Vegas or the river. I got my bachelors and more graduate units than I can count and worked in counseling before stumbling into police work. It was a fascinating experience. I retired as a lieutenant after 22 years and went back into counseling. I now work at a homeless shelter in Pasadena and occasionally do private investigations when a case interests me.
I have been married once but have no ch...Expand for more
ildren. I live in a house in live oak canyon in La Verne with two juvenile delinquent cats, a huge dog and lots of books. I love the opera and renaissance faire and spend my spare time with music, jiu-jitsu, fencing and weight-lifting. It's been an interesting life thus far.
I hope you are all well and look forward to seeing friends from so many lives ago.
March 2008 This shocking update; I have married a beautiful young woman who, despite my increasingly curmudgeonly ways, is still around. She reads, loves music, fences with epee and rapier, and is every bit the nerd I am. I shall have to remain interesting in order to keep her.
