Been a long time since I saw Ojai. Since leaving Nordhoff in 1970, I graduated from Whittell High School in Zephyr Cove, NV. Our graduating class was 21 seniors. Came back to Ojai in 1972 and got degree at Ventura College, then did a year at Cal Poly-SLO until I ran out of money. Since then I've lived in many places with lots of adventures. Retired from NV. Div. of Forestry as a Firefighter/EMT-I My fire station was located at 7000 ft. and the mountain we covered was 11, 800 ft. I added 3 1/2 yrs with the 911 dept of the Spokane County Sheriff in WA State, then worked a few years as the Building Facilities Mgr for a Sallie Mae call center with 300+ employees in Las Vegas until my back gave up the ghost. But in my adventures I've met alot of famous people, flown in US Army Helicopters (never in the service), flown over Area 51 (and no they didn't shoot me), and can honestly say I've been blown up, shot at, burned, run over, and fallen thru buildings. Buy me a beer or two and I can keep you entertained for hours. Got married in 1989, still together, and had 3 kids.
