John Henry:  

After graduating from the eigth grade St. Andrews School, I entered the minor seminary of the Franciscans of the Third Order Regular. I was given the religious name of Terence, in 1967, when I became a novice. I made my first profession of vows in 1968. and was ordained to the priesthood in 1976 and celebrated my first Mass at St. Andrews. I taught history at Bishop Egan High School, first during an apostolic year in 1971-72 and after ordination from 1976 to 1992. I have always had a passion for history and have been a strong advocate of it being restored to its rightful place in our schools. I love poetry, particularily poems that tell a story or celebrate America. I became the last Principal of Bishop Egan High School in Bucks County, Pa., and the first President of Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (1992-96). In 1996, I was appointed by the Province of the Sacred Heart to be the Director of Postulants (first year seminarians) in Loretto, Pa, and became a Vice President at St. Francis University shortly afterewards. I have served the Province of the Sacred Heart in the capacity of Vicar Provincial 2004-08.
