Life My life has taken a lot of interesting twists. I was Honorably discharged from the Navy in 1972 with the rank of E-5. During my last year in the service I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Following military service I went home to Ventura California where I started school at the local community college, finishing up my degree in special education at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. I have been teaching Jr High Special Ed. students for the past 18 years here in Salt Lake City where I live with my wonderful Wife Teresa and our four children, three of which are grown. Before moving to Utah in 1991, I taught for six years for Ventura College and then for another five and a half years, my wife and I managed a ski lodge in Big Bear California. (We did that on a whim and wound up loving it, the people, the location and opportunities Big Bear had to offer.)
