John's Story
I continued my stellar academic performance for a semester after HS and then did a world tour thanks to the Army. Back to school, quite successfully, and since I had so much time in the Dean's office at OPRFHS I ended up with a couple degrees in Counseling and became a Psychologist in a few universities, Michigan, New Orleans, Minnesota, and finally as director of counseling and some other offices at New Mexico State. Just retired 6 months ago, tired of the admin bs that was getting deep.
I was married for over 25 great...Expand for more
years but very sadly my wife died about 6 years ago. I finished raising our daughter but now she is back home after being injured on the job. I keep busy, traveling, running, motorcycling, and taking care of 3 dogs, 2 cats, and two horses. My picture was from a recent trip to the North slope of Alaska, next week camping in Colorado, then a motorcycle trip to the East coast, and a trip coming up to Australia where I hope to bike across the continent.
Getting used to being retired and looking forward to new experiences.
