I have a few good memories of my time spent at HHS, Mrs. Tichner's English, Mr. Becker's Mechanical Drawing, Mr. Grant's Ag Shop and the FFA field trips are about it. But the rumors, lies and physical confrontations are what really stand out and made my time there a living hell. It wasn't until I transferred to Warren Vo-Tech with the rest of the geeks, freaks, misfits and other social rejects did I really feel at ease and finally accepted by my classmates. I remember the before school drag races from the coffee shop to the driveway, smoking in the girl's room, blowing the whistle on Superintendent Green (too bad it took 20 yrs or so for someone to listen) and the high point, the Student Walkout.
