John's Story
After Graduation I served in the U.S. Navy for 4 yrs 4 months. I extended so that the Navy would pay for the birth of my first daughter. After discharge in 1977 I went to work in the Shipyards as a Electrician in Portland and then in 1981 I moved up to the yards in the Puget Sounds finally working at Tacoma Boatbuilding until 1984. I got a job as a Aerospace Planner on the B-1B bomber project at Rockwell in Palmdale Ca. from 84-87. Took a Job at Boeing 2/87 as a Aerospace Planner and have been there ever since. ed twice (going thru my second divorce) have two more daughters (23 & 21) and a Grandaughter (1yr 10mos). I have been a Freemason since 1996, The Worshipful Master of the Lodge twice (2002 & 2006). I am on City of Pacific's Planning Commission (Chairperson), Civil Service Commission (Chairperson) and Park Board (Secretary) and I am presently running for City Council this November. that's about it in a nutshell. (Side note: Divorce finalized 12/22/09 and I did win the election and I am now a Councilmember for the City of Pacific.)
