John is taking me to see Fleetwood Mac again. Last time I seen them in concert was in 2013. This will be the return of Christine Mc Vie after 15 years being out of the band. Wow I can't wait to see them all together again. This is going to be a great concert.

John and I took another vacation back to London on our 35th wedding anniversary and took my grandson and my niece with us. We all had a great time.

Hi Everybody this is John doing the Update this time. Well we made it into Universal Studio fun park with our Grandson Iain. This is his first time to Universal Studios. it was only 10:30 am. We were pack in like SARDINES . When I saw the email for our tickets and what Karen paid for the 3 tickets with PERFERRED PARKING and FRONT OF THE LINE TICKETS I said are you kidding me we paid that much? Well after we got our car park and then got into the park and saw what we were in for I am sure glad she paid for all the extra. front of the line Tickets It was well worth the price. We would have been in line for each ride for about 1 hour and we would have never seen everything we saw that day. There were so many people in line for each ride. I am sure glad my woman knows what to do HE HE HE . Let me say this get your tickets on line and get the PERFERRED PARKING and the FRONT of The Line Tickets you will be glad you did. You save so much time from standing in line and your parking will be right out side the exit gate.

After having a Wonderful Christmas this year. Today on my Birthday John will be driving me to work for the last time. Today is my Retirement day from the county of San Bernardino after 33 years. I'm going to sit home for a while and do some more sewing and other things and then find me a small part time job. If you click onto the fourkkkk on the left side of the screen it will take you to all our video's that john has posted. You can see what John got me for Christmas this year. Well this is what been happening with me. Last month John took me to the Long Beach quilt Festival show in Long Beach and then this month he took me to the Summer Quilt Festival at the Pomona fair Grounds in Pomona Ca. We walk around for about 3 to 4 hours looking at all the Quilts and all the other things they had there. We talk to a lot of the vendors about every kind of sewing machine that was on display and even try some of them out. There was so much to see and look at. On our way out the door the last vendor was selling Bernina sewing machines. I was in love with what they had on display. After talking and talking and sewing on one for about an hour John just look at me and said why don't you just get it.He said you been wanting a new sewing machine for a long time. He was right I have been wanting a new sewing machine for years. So I got it. I love it. In 1973 after I graduated from high school I got my first Sears Kenmore sewing machine that I still have. And it still works great and I'ÃÂÃÂm going to pass it down to my daughter. John said the Bernina will be for me retiring from the county after 30 years this December. I also just spent my first Halloween with my new granddaughter Brenna. Wow what a great night out. The grand Kids look just awesome. John is getting ready to build me a new sewing table for me to make my Quilts on. Every time john takes me to Jo-ann's fabric store he always checks out stuff for me. He has his eye on a ACCUQUILT Machine for me so I wouldn't have to cut fabric all day long for what I need to make my next quilt. He has been watching the price on it but it never comes down to a good price for him. So he went on Amazon.com and found it for over $150.00 less then what Jo-anns wanted for it so guess what he got it for me and I just love what this machine will do to help me with cutting fabric. It is awesome and so easy to use. I have just finish a blanket for my granddaughter Brenna and one for my grandson Iain. Now I will be making one for my daughter. For Halloween I made 2 ghost for the grandkids with my new Bernina .

Well a lot has been happening with me. I'm a grandmother again I have this beautiful grand daughter Brenna who came into my life on July 6th. she is just a world of joy.
On Friday Aug 23rd I took John for his 60th birthday and my son Jr for his 34th birthday to a concert this weekend. we went to Shelter Island to see Buddy Guy and George Thorogood and the Destroyers Band. This was at the Humphreys Half Moon Inn. We all had a wonderful time.

John took me to see Fleewood Mac at the Honda center in Anaheim Wow what a concert it was. It was awesome and we had some really good seats.

Back to Vegas to see the Eagles in Concert at the MGM grand
It was a great concert they rock the house....Expand for more
Joe Walsh was awesome..Didn't care for our room at the MGM grand.
On Oct 10,2012 John took me back to Vegas to see Elton John The Million Dollar Piano at Caesars Palace The Show was awesome. near the end of the show John and I and other people got to go on stage with Elton John while he was singing what a night to remember.It was the best... We had really good seat's up front. we were in the front Orch section. after the show we went back to our room at Caesars Palace to have room service bring us Ice Cream hahaha. John is taking me back in Nov the 17 2012 to see the Eagles Concert . Already have our tickets and our room at the MGM. Can't wait for that one.
So that about it for now I'll let you know how the Eagles Concert was..

John took me to New York in April for 3 days and we had the most wonderful time. We went to the very top of the Empire State Building. then we went on a Liberty Express tour by Gray line tours then it was off on the harbor tour, from there we went down to little Italy in New York for lunch. The place was call Grotta Azzura Ristornnte. after the day tour John took me to see Phanton of the Opera at the Majestic Theatre off Broadway. WOW I had the most wonderful time getting to see it on stage. Then after the Opera John took me to diner across the street to Sardi. The food was just wonderful. John had Sauta ÃÂÃÂÃÂùed Swordfish Medallions with Ratatouille, Crispy Polenta And Spicy Aioli and a nice wine from Sandy Cove a Sauvignon Blanc 2011 the wine hails from Marlborough, New Zealand. I had Napoleon of Homemade Mozzarella, Vine-Ripened Beefsteak Tomato and Basil with Tuscan Virgin Olive Oil and Aged Balsamic Vinegar. After Diner John order Baked Alaska for 2 .first time I had that and it was great.. on our last day there John took me on the Helicopter tour. Wow was that a great way to end the trip.
In Feb of 2012 John took me to Vegas to see Elton John. but the show was canceled 1 hour before he was to go on do to him being sick. so we went to another show call Viva Elvis that was really good but I really wanted to see Elton John. We try 2 more times to get to see him but he was still sick.. BUT we did have a wonderful diner at P J CLARKS inside Caesars Palace. we had the Porterhouse Prime steak dinner with sauteed mushrooms and John had, lobster and John had wine. The steak was off the hook! It came with its own sauce and it was awesome. It was a Porterhouse for two,a 40oz steak. You have to try it if you ever eat there.And John had his fresh OYSTERS also.

Not much going on but work work work John is still driving all over Southern calif everyday mostly L A, Santa Brabra some times he goes down to San Diego.. We were just down in Degio about 3 weeks ago we did the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives things we watch that show all the time so while in San Diego we went to the Blue Water seafood resturant on India Street and Crazee burgers in North Park and Studio Diner off Ruffin Road and a few other places and had a great time and the food was great. John had a GATOR burger at Crazee Burger and said it was ok I had a Lamb and beef and he like that better. Blue water seafood was his best place to eat he loves his fish ceviche and Fish Tacos.. We also went to the Midway to see it and then drove all over San Diego. John was showing me all the places he use to fish and where he like to go around San Diego. My Daughter Donea is doing just great and my grandsonn is getting bigger and bigger day by day. He was just herelast week swimming. That boy loves to swim no matter how cold the water is he wants to get it and go ..My son Jr is doing great he like to ride around L A with John a lot . John said the other day he thinks myspace is going down hill. he use to be on it a lot but now he is always on Facebook doing his political talk he still writes letters to Duncan Hunter and a few others but he has slow down on doing that now. Owell hope everyone is doing ok. Iam adding a lot of school on my page so that John can search for some of his old racing buddys that he hung out with on Main street and on Second Street.

Well now what have I been doing? John had the Kitchen remodel and had the grass pull up out in the back yard and put in fake grass and a pudding green and a sand box for our grandson, He also put in a new pool liner and had a new cement slab put in. I am still working hard for the county and John is still driving all over calif. My grandson just turn 4 this year Nov 1st and he is into the movies now.. He likes to watch CARS, Pirates of the Caribbean, Nemo, and lots of others we have here for him.. For his Birthday this year it was a Pirate Birthday will put some pictures up for you to see.. We are all doing great. My daughter Donea is doing wonderful and so is her husband Dustin. Well that about all for now
Life
I have been married to John Kay, also from El Cajon, for 34 years as of June 25th.In June of 2003 John took me to Paris France. Wow what a wonderful time we both had.In June 2004 we renew our vows at the Temple Church in London,England. Wow did I have the time of my life there for 2 weeks. John love's to travel. In 2005 John took me to New Zealand for 2 wonderful weeks. We have 2 children, a daughter (28) that was married 2001 and expecting their first child in Nov 2004. Our son (26) is a Staff Sergeant in the Army currently stationed at Ft Benning, GA. I have worked for San Bernardino County since 1980.
