john's Story

After graduating from hilliard high school I went to Ohio State and graduated in 1984. Afterward I moved to Ft. Lauderdale FL where I lived for 3 years before returning to Columbus, Ohio. I was employed by the Borden dairy company for 3 years until the plant was closed. A couple jobs later I worked at Worthington Foods, but another layoff took that job and I found myself up in Elida, Ohio for the next 3 years working in a salad/pizza processing plant in Delphos, OH. I sold my possesion, car etc and to Phoenix, AZ where I currently live. I got a great paying job, a paid off townhouse and ready to retire in 3 or 5 more years. I am still snigle but I enjoy it. I do wonder what became of the class of 1980. When I had to return to Ohio to bury my father I had a chance to drive through Hilliard, my gosh I didn't recognize the place. Only the McDonald's was at the same spot. Well I wonder how anyone in the class of 1980 turned out? I do remember a few classmates. .
