Military
In 1966 I enlisted in the Navy, hoping to get a job in a band. I went through music schools, other A-schools, and finally got a cushy office job with VP-44, a Patrol Squadron on the Atlantic coast. Duty in a P-3 squadron gave me some of the best years of my life.
