John's Story
Graduated in 1952, Lived on Newark Ave., near St. Procops, worked at the Newark deli and bar on W. 41st during high schookl. Went into the Army in 1954 thru 1956,, served with the 3rd Armored Division in France, ., spent many weekends in Paris France during my duty time. when I was stationed in Orleans, France.
After my military service I worked as a Operations Manager for a large discount chain in Maple Heightsd, Ohio and the as a Grocery Store Manager for the Kroger Company at Westgate Plaza until they closed all of their stores in the market. Owned my own Real Estate Company for approx 10 years, then worked as a Territory Manager covering Northern Ohio from Pa., to the Michigan, Indiana State lines.

ida and then retired in 1993 and spent time doing nothing until I got bored then I started traveling, going to the beaches, visiting National Parks, Historic Sites, Amusement Parks thruout Florida0. Moved back to Ohio in 2004, lived in Strongsville and the built a home in Medina and lived there until 2009 when we moved to Bethlehem, Ga. We are about 40 miles from downtown Atlanta and about 20 miles from Athens, Ga., the home of the Georgia Bulldoga.
Try to keep busy doing DIY around the home while we are not traveling. We go back up to Cleveland about twice per year to visit family and also go to Florida to visit family.
