I was born in Bloomington, southern Indiana. I moved once across town while in elementary school and then moved to the Detroit area when I was in high school. I went into the Navy for six years where I operated a nuclear reactor on a prototype submarine named USS Virginia. Now I'm back in the Detroit area at my family's house in Plymouth, Michigan. I'm saving a ton of money, I'm planning to transfer to the University of Michigan or elsewhere to get a degree. My major is still undecided between education and physics. I really like kids, but I also really enjoy math and science and would be good doing research. During the semester, I spend most of my time studying and working with volunteer projects. During breaks I usually go somewhere fun to visit family. During the rest of my free time, I like to tinker with small projects around the house, in the workshop, or on the computer, although I usually have nothing to show for it...
