John's Story
Workplace:
I retired from Rolls-Royce of Indianapolis Indiana as Director of Compressors and Fans on February 28, 2002. My career began at plant 5 on October 1, 1978 as a first line Heat Treat Production Supervisor.
My career covered the fabrication and assembly of parts for small, medium and large turbine engines. The processes included heat treat, plating, painting, machining, assembly and shipping.
Prior to manufacturing, my previous 14 years were spent at Met...Expand for more
hodist Hospital of Indianapolis in laboratory and Kidney research.
I started as a laboratory technician in 1965, worked in kidney transplant as a Chief Renal Transplant Technician and finished a fourteen year career as a laboratory supervisor.
Volunteer Work:
A member of Kiwanis Club of North Indianapolis since 1994
Served as its president 2009 - 2010
Religious Activity:
Presbyterian - Elder
Sunday school teacher and served on Personnell and Education Committees
