Life After 35 years in Hospital Administration, I "retired" and opened Stomping Grounds Cafe in Somers. Our claim to fame is our homemade Gelato..........my daughter and business partner is the gelato maker.....we are told it is just like being in Italy..........stop by and try some........I am on the town of Carmel Planning Board but more important, I am the prou...Expand for more

Well we sold Stomping Grounds Cafe in the spring of 2008 and moved about 15 miles north to 1100 Route 52 in the town of Kent/Carmel.. we opened "Johnny Gelato".....aside from the retail store, we now have our gelato in about a dozen restaurants and growing....pleae stop by and reintroduce yourself..
