JOHN M. McCORMICK ACTIVE RETIRED JUDGE OKLAHOMA WORKERS COMP COURT RETIRED GENERAL COUNSEL COMPSOURCE MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY 2019 *Active Retired Judge Oklahoma Comp Court 2020 John McCormick was born in Oklahoma City and attended old Central High School in downtown Oklahoma City and Southwestern High School in Oklahoma City. McCormick served three years of active military duty in the U. S. Army from February 1967 to February 1970. He served one tour of duty in Vietnam from August 1967 to September 1968 and was awarded the Air Medal with three clusters, The Army Commendation and The Vietnamese Cross for service during the Tet Offensive of 1967-1968. Later, he was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General Corps. McCormick received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma and his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University Law School. He is a member in good standing with the Oklahoma State Bar Association and admitted to federal practice in the Western District of Oklahoma and the Supreme Court of Oklahoma.
