John's Story
Life
Just moved back to So-Cal and hoping to look up some old friends. After years of meaningless jobs, I was hired as a youth pastor at my church. After about 6 years of that, I decided it was time for a change again. So I went back to tech school and got certified as an automotive technician and worked as a VW tech for a few years. Now I am a manager at a bicycle store in Fountain Valley. More fun and less grease. My wife has her degree in elemenatry education and works as the childrens pastor at our church.

e Duarte Campus Life director and JV tennis coach. That's where I met my wife and moved to Minnesota. After a year in MN, I went to a community college to retsart my education process. I crammed 38 credits into 1 year and tranfered to Bethel College, a private Christian school, to work towards my B.A.'s in Youth Ministry and Biblical Studies. 1 semester into Bethel our 1st child was born. I tried to balance school, work and new baby, but it just wasn't happening. A year and half later our second kid was born. I waited a couple years after that and went to tech school to get certified as an automotive technician. I still plan to finish my Biblical Studies degree someday, but it's not as much of priorty now.
