John's Story
Life
After Triton I went onto Drexel Uinversity where I joined a Fraternity and became it's president. ( My son is now in the same Fraternity and, of course, is now my Fraternity Brother) I'm now president of the Alumni Board. I received a commission and served two years active duty in the US Army Infantry just missing duty in Vietnam. I got out of the service as a Captain. I went back to Drexel on the GI bill for a Masters Degree. I'm very active at Drexel as an alumni volunteer. I retired in 2008 and I do Civil War reenacting , play three instruments, and enjoy my two kids, one in Syracuse and one at Drexel. I'...Expand for more
ve been married for 36 years to MaryAnn a Moore College of Art graduate.
I also am a member of several veterans groups and have joined a group that performs burial cememonies at the National Cememtery at Washington Crossing.
My daughter in Syracuse has given me two grand children. My son lives in Harleysville and is three weeks from his first child.
We sponsored a young lady from Italy at Drexel who has now completed her BS, Masters, and PHD in Electrical Engineering. She teaches at UNC Charlotte. Her parents in Rome have become out best friends and we often travel together both in Italy (six times) and the US.
