John's Story
Since college I have been working as a programmer. The bulk of that time has been spent with my current employer Neiman Marcus. I am divorced with a 3 year old daughter that I adore!!
I remember High School as a place I didn't quite fit in. I regret the fact that I appearantly didn't form any lasting friendships, as I am no longer in contact with anyone from those days.
College was fun, it must have been it took me 8 years to get out. I took a break for a couple of years, so it actually only took me 6 of those 8 to graduate. I remember Crossroads, Cotton Eyed Joe's, the rugby team, and the KA house fondly. My favorit...Expand for more
e professor, Dr. Dailey, passed away in '07. I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers and thanks him for his torture that made us ready to hit the ground running when we graduated.
My life is in turmoil right now and I'm not sure where I'll be a year from now. All I can say is everyday above ground is a good day and wherever I am in a year will be fine, as long as I've got my family, friends, and my health. What else can you ask for?
Update, daughter is almost 17 and I live in WV. My daughter is the only family I have near me and she seems less and less enthused by that fact. If I had to sum it up I'd say: What's the use.
