John's Story

Life Like many Michigan snowbirds, I migrated to Charlotte NC back in 1981. My three kids are on their own with the youngest starting UNC-Chapel Hill this year. Divorced and on my own over five years now, I find self-employed provides much flexibility to travel but still find the Carolina's my favorite place to be. From...Expand for more
camping, hiking and snow skiing in the mountains, to hang gliding and scuba diving at the coast. In the fall, I find the Art & Craft Festivals' hard to beat. Here in Charlotte, I find everyone very friendly and look forward to exploring new friendships, experiences and bringing something to this fun loving community.
