John's Story
Life
I was Born in the Winter of 1960 in San Francisco. When I was 1 year old my Mother moved us to Los Gatos California when her and my Father split-up. As I grew-up, I was in a hurry to get out of school and go to work... And I liked to party which let me to hang around the wrong crowd... So I achieved a High School Equivalency so I could join the U.S. Air Force where I attended Firefighter Academy, I was then sent to Southern Italy for 30 months (San Vito Dei Normanni, AS), in 1984 I got out of AF here in Southern California at George AFB (base was closed in '91 during Congressional base closure ...Expand for more
act), where I met my Beautiful wife Lisa, she gave birth to Paula our Daughter in 1987. I'm a Captain/Lead-Firefighter here at Edwards Fire Dept.(where the Space Shuttle lands from some of it's missions, also the Air Force and NASA perform aviations most technical flight tests and research) in the Southern California High Desert. Emergency Services work is very rewarding, but... Looking forward toward retirement. It's a miracle who I've turned out to be, when I look back at the GEEK that I was...
