My Spouse
I met Rene when we lived in the same university residence; we were married in Vancouver and have lived in Bella Coola for over 50 years. After operating a family business for most of that time, we transitioned management of the business to staff members, while continuing a wide range of involvement in community activities. I do a lot of accounting work for non-profit organizations and a few years ago got my bartender's licence so I could volunteer at our ,local Legion.

the University of Toronto. He has always been an enthusiastic participant in virtually all activities, and is a wonderful person to have as family member. He presently lives with his wife, a marine biologist, in Halifax, after previously doing marine design work in Norway, Malta, and Quebec. They are the parents of our lovely granddaughter, Gwen, born in January, 2012. Eight years ago, he went back to university to get a B.Ed because he felt he could contribute more to society through teaching than engineering. He is now the senior physics teacher at Citadel High School in Halifax..
