John's Story

Life Hmmm...bio that can't exceed 2000 characters. College: Cal Poly SLO 1st Job: Lockheed Missiles and Space Co. as a Systems Engineer, etc. Family: Met wife Joan there and had two wonderful children Jaimee and Daniel. But separated and divorced in '97, now shared 50/50 custody. 2nd Job: Mitsubishi Electronics as a Product Marketing Manager for ASICs. After a joint venture with Hitachi we are now called Renesas Technology America. 3rd Job: Back at Lockheed...for good. Home: Fremont, CA Work: Sunnyvale, CA Interests: Family, friends, fun people and outdoors. Previously caught up in a WARN-sized lay-off but made the best of being 'between jobs' and in the end, wouldn't have traded it for the world! Truly blessed... we had growing pains and lost friends and family along the way, but the memories will always be there forever. Thanks for the memories... College "Learn By Doing", I didn't really know what that meant when I started, but it sure ended up being the truth. It's a lesson we all get in life. We learn by successes, by mistakes, by avoiding things, by diving in, and just by showing up. Workplace From delivering newspapers, to pizzas, to RB's, to #### {classified}, to Missiles, to snubbers, to chips and Systems on Chips...to being unemployed (although I've been coached to say I'm "between jobs") it continues to be a great ride and I love it. Now back to Lockheed Martin and loving that too. I hope to be able to say I did it the 'old-fashioned way', just like my Dad , ..."I earned it".
