John's Story

After graduating from AHHS and 1 year of Jr, College, I served 8 years in the US Coast Guard. Worked in a variety of technical and managerial positions. Retired in 2002 after a 30 year career in the computer and telecommunications industries. Married twice, 6 grown children, 5 grand-children. Lived in Virginia for 20 years, moved to North Carolina 12 ...Expand for more
years ago. Have done extensive travelling around the world: Japan, Europe, Latin America and even Antarctica. Avid boater and salt water fisherman. Enjoy cruises and visiting foreign ports. Involved in politics - was on an Electoral College slate in the 2004 presidential election. Currently working on the AHHS Class of '62 50th anniversary reunion
