John's Story
Life
Now I live in Portsmouth, NH and operate an advertising agency with my very talented wife, Denise Brown. We will be married 38 years in 2019 (and they said it would never last). I enjoy playing guitar with my church group and I've had a few rock groups through the years. I've become a bit of a nerd in the past few years and am called on to fix many friends and family computers. My job at our little business is building web sites and try to stay state-of-the-art in my tech knowledge which is becoming tougher as the years march by, but I manage. My life is nothing like I expected it to be - it's actually much better.

ge when I was responsible for what happened and actually had to pay for it. I still consider Cumberland home, but it's been 10 years since I visited and I am long overdue. I especially miss D'atri's! And I would love a bag of Uncle Lu's silver dollar hamburgers.
If I had two lives, one would be in Cumberland trying to help that place get back on it's feet. There are so many who are formerly from Cumberland. I remember a better time in Cumberland, especially going back during the holidays and Christmas shopping in downtown when you met everyone you ever knew in town. Those were the holiday visits that color my Christmas today - can you imagine a Christmas without WalMart - how did we ever do it?
