John's Story

After high school I went to college for two years and then joined the Marine Corp.(1968-72) Did one tour in Viet Nam with helicopters and OV-10s. Managed the family business from 1972-76. I have two daughters, Shannon McKenzie born in 1977 and Jennifer Mary born in 1980.My wife Pat has been a teacher since 1974. I was lucky enough to cover local professional and college sports for 13 years for a small local radio station.
