My Spouse
We were both grad students at UCLA; I was in Physics, and she in German. We met through a friend who was her roommate (also a German student). She passed away on July 4, 2020.
My Job
I spend most of my time sitting in front of a computer. I'm Dean of Graduate Studies and Resear...Expand for more
ch at CSU Dominguez Hills; aside from meetings (lots of meetings...), much of what I do is aimed at making it possible for more of our faculty members to engage in research projects by helping them get external funding. I also set policies that help graduate students succeed in their chosen fields
