John's Story
After high school I went to Chadron State College for 2 years before transferring to South Dakota State, where I got my BS in Civil Engineering. College was a great time for the most part. I lived with Jimmy Fugate at SDSU. If you ever run into him be sure to call him Harris.
I went straight from college to work for the Kansas Dept. of Transportation in 2001. I chose Kansas because the winters are relatively warm but I'm still in the Midwest. I knew I wanted/needed to leave SD and KS seemed like a good fit. It's ended up being a good decision.
2003 was a busy year....Expand for more
I got married (to Jenny Hanson), got my Professional Engineer license, bought a house, and my first kid was born.
It's now 2008. We have 3 kids (Ethan, Jackson, and Kylee) and live in Plainville, KS. We get back to Kadoka quite often so that the kids can see the grandparents and cousins. This year I stayed busy by coaching Jackson's T-Ball team and serving as Ethan's den leader for Cub Scouts.
Believe it or not, I spend a lot of my free time working in my yard, our house, and attempting to fix up my '62 Chevy pickup. Send me an email at johndringo at yahoo dot com.
