John's Story

Life In highschool I was rather quiet. If you didn't know me or even knew me and I didn't talk to you its because I was shy. Thats the only reason. I've heard people say they didn't think I liked them or some other nonsense. Trust me, I doubt thats what it was. I wish I had been more open and I wish I could say I've changed. I graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering. I did it because it was the hardest thing I could think of that didn't involve blood. Unfortunately it also isn't really what I want to do with my life. So I'm apparently both intelligent and stupid at the same time. Its a difficult thing to master, trust me, but I'm fairly good at it. After a few years in the aerospace industry and a year ...Expand for more
at Lockheed Martin I decided that I would rather move back to Lake City to be in an area I was more comfortable with. I now live in Lake City and work in Jacksonville where I am a software developer. I currently program an Internet application to give pension administrators the ability to put their 401(k) plans on the 'Net...a little more exciting than Lockheed but not by much :) I've lived in Tuscaloosa, AL, Mobile, AL, Marietta, GA, and of course here in Lake City. I've travelled to New York, Seattle, and I have a trip planned for Jackson Hole Wy. Hopefully I'll see Dick Cheney while I'm there and give him a looksy at my middle finger. I'm single. I found her and lost her. I guess at some point I'll look again but for now I busy myself with work.
