John's Story

Life I Have two Children and four Grandchildren (with Linda Rogers): Daughter: Carrie (born '73) Grandson: Dean Harmon (Born '94) Granddaughter: Brittany Milli (Born '97) Son: Scott (born '80) Grandson: Nathan Rippel (Born '03) Granddaughter: Graclynn Jade Rippel (Born '08). I Married Phyllis Hansman (from St. Louis) July 10 1993. We Lived in Bel Air Maryland 1993 to 2003 before moving to Bedford Co. Pa (40 mi. north of Cumberland) in 2003. We live in a very rural mountain area of Pa along the Juniata River, 3 miles south of Raystown Lake and 30 miles southeast of Altoona. School I have great memories of our high school days, and often think of all my friends and the fun we had during this time of our lives. afted into the Army in 1970 for two years, I finally realized the importance of an education. I Attended night school for seven years and graduated with a BS in Business Management in 1980. I do keep in touch with some friends from high school and attend most of the reunions but miss many others who have been "out of touch" and can not seem to locate. Please send me an email and let me know how you are. Career: After high school graduation (1968) I began working for Western Electric at the regional center in Hunt Valley. WE later became AT&T Network Systems then Lucent Technologies. Phyllis and I both retired in 2001 (voluntary pension offer) and I continued to work for the company, now Alcatel-Lucent USA as a consultant from home until August 2009. Now home projects and golf keeps me busy. Love to hear from classmates so please let me know how you are doing.
