John's Story
Life
I graduated from Allenby Public School in 1949 and than went to UTS and graduated in 1954. I than went to work teaching figure skating, speed skating and hockey, having started the Weston ( and later Tam O'Shanter) Hockey Schools. I orginated Power Skating for Hockey at these schools. in 1967 I taught at Cornell University in Ithaca New York. rned at St. Mike's for a year and went into family practice in Streetsville for 3 years, during the last year or so I was coroner for Peel County. I practiced in Des Moines for 2 years and than moved to Indiana where I practiced until I retired in 2003. I now have a home in The Villages Fl where my wife and I live for nine months of the year, and spend the summers at our home on Balsam Lake, Long Point. I married in 1968 and have two childre.
