John's Story
Let's see...almost 40 years to catch up on. I went to UNM and ended up as one of the editors of the Lobo. Then proceeded to dink around a few years. Discovered I had a kanck for those newfangled computers and have been in IT ever since the late 1970s. I currently am the director of the VA's data processing centers. imagine if you'd known me way back when :) Come to think of it, there probably weren't many computers back then.
Got married in 1985 and perhaps surprisingly have stayed married for almost 24 years now. 2 kids.
I've done a LOT of moving since leaving UNM: Tucson, Santa Fe, Austin, Temple, Salt Lake City, Tuscaloosa, Martinsburg and now back to Austin the past 8 years.
