John's Story
I spent 8 years in a military school,Page Military Academy, before going into high school. During high school, I delevered the Examiner newspaper before school, ran track & cross country after school and in the evenings I worked in a Flying A gas station at Franklin and Hillhurst.
I spent 2 yeras in college before going into the Army in the fall of 64.
I spent 35 years in public service, the City of LA, County of Riverside

family camping,fishing. In 1969, I married a lady from my high school, but didn't meet until way after graduation, Karen Meyer. After retiring the last time, Karen and I have been volunteering. Have worked Yosemite, Yellowstone and
Riverside County parks. We have lived
in the Los Feliz area, Glendale area and in 1999 moved to northern Idaho. We spend summers there and winters in So Cal.
I have had a good life, many friends
and felt I did well with the cards I was delt. I have enjoyed reconnecting
with friends from my past, making new friends via the net.
