John's Story
Life
After graduating I worked a couple of years. Then enrolled at U of H. Married in 1961 to Barbara Hargraves. She passed away in 1983. I have two sons and two daughters living in the North East. I enjoy traveling since retiring from Anheuser Busch. Hobbies include photography, tennis, cooking, gardening and traveling. Some of my photo's are on the internet and some published in national magazines.
School
The three years I spent at Jeff Davis has been relived over and over again. When My world fell apart it was these memories that gave me the strength to carry on. The laughter and friendship we shared enabled me to laugh at life as an adult. Also the heartaches and tears. I would like to thank all you guys for the memories. College
Don't remember the names of the students, only faces. Will never forget the professors thou. My only goal was to hurry and finish. Having lunch with Pat Cousins from Jeff Davis in the Cougar Den was kinda like home.
Workplace
Retired from Anheuser Busch in 1993 as Senior Cost Accountant. Currently doing contract work for three agencies. Some of the companies I have helped are ABB Lumas, Williams, and Bowen. These companies were losing a million dollars a month. Even did work for the IRS. In 2002 I was asked to assist in the Enron investigation. Working contract gives me the ability to work whenever I want.
Military
I consider the time I spent a total waste of time. I would never do it again but then I would never trade the experience for the world. I thank God we not not at war with any country.
