John's Story
Life
Moved on from Chicago 8^( and it was tough leaving there, especially considering my new location, Dayton, OH, which is not exactly a 'hub of fun'
While I currently live in the suburbs of Chicago (it's the greatest), I've also lived in: the suburbs of Chicago, Detroit, MI, Raleigh, NC, Tampa, Florida, Binghamton, NY as well as a period of time in Bandung, Indonesia.

My greatest accomplishment (other than my career and my two kids) was completing my first marathon (at an age too close to 50) in the 2004 Detroit Marathon with a time of 4:17:33!
But since my first (I only planned on running one) I've completed a total of 11 and have become friends with runners from all over the US & Canada.
My personal best of 3:58:42 has was recently achieved in Nashville, TN. But I have a long way to go to meet my ultimate goal of a Boston Qualifier.
