John's Story
Joined the Air Force right after school (after an unforgettable month in O.C. that I can't remember) and went overseas for a while - it was a great way of life. Wish I could tell you about it :)
Came home and went to HCC and then transfered to UB and moved downtown. Taught for a while and then went overseas again, this time to Asia. Spent a year in Korea teaching and studying martial arts. Met my wife there in 1997 and got married in 2000. Must be really good, because nothing in my life has ever lasted this long :) We had a daughter in 2005. She's smart, beautiful and soulful as the day is long.
We live in Baltimore, at least for the next two years and then we're moving back to Asia for a few and from there - who knows.

back 20 years later and seeing pictures (my parents just gave me out of storage) of my high school friends and all the way back to rec soccer it's good to be from somewhere.
Work wise, I own a small consulting firm called Smith Growth Partners and it keeps me pretty busy with interesting challenges.
Hobbies haven't changed much. Still love to write, published a bit and then taught writing for a while. Lately I've mostly been writing music for acoustic guitar (blue grass, country, americana). Also been writing funny t-shirt slogans and am in the course of starting a little t-shirt business (which has already been threatened with a law suit from the State of MD for parodying one of their slogans...
Also riding motorcycles with a fun group of guys out of Hampden. I have a '78 Honda that I take out on the weekends - and I'm addicted to politics.
All in all, things are good...
