John's Story
Graduated from Louis St. Laurent in 83. 1983-87 Philadelphia BMus Cello Performance. 87-88 Toronto (Orchestra Training Program - Royal Conservatory). Windsor Symphony (88-94) with a year of Residency at the Banff Centre of Fine Arts (92-93). Since 1994 living in Spain: Barcelona 94-95, Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife (Canary Islands) 95-97, Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid (Principal Cello 1998 until present day). time to playing in my string quartet, Cuarteto Bretón (2004). I love travelling, wining and dining, chilling with friends & family, though they are now moved all over the world so thats not too easy. I have been moving around so much that I haven't been able to really keep in touch with the Class of 1983.
